True Pursuit

When was the last time you took a good look at what is under the hood of your car (or whatever you drive)? The other day I was filling up my gas tank and I had the thought that I should check the oil. A wave of something between fear and guilt came over me as I tried to remember the last time I actually taken a look at what was under the hood of my 99 Jeep. As men, our lives are a lot like that. Something just doesn't feel right, like there is something deep down in our soul that is making a noise. If you are like me you either forget about it by the time you get home or to work. Or you just turn the radio up, keep right on moving...somewhat effectively distracting ourselves until it surfaces again.

This is a blog dedicated to my own process of checking under the hood of my life and in the process I hope it inspires you to do the same.
